Product Review: Canon Pixma MP245

Early in this year of 2009, Canon Inc released some Multifunction inkjet printers (MFP). One of them is Canon Pixma MP245. This printer is prepared to replace MP145.
Some improvements applied in this printer are:

Printing
- Resolutions : 4800 x 1200 (max) with 2 picolitre* smallest ink droplet.
- Speed: up to 19 ppm (monochrome) dan 15 ppm (color).
- 4" x 6” (4R) borderless photo in approx. 45 sec
- Borderless printing support A4 size
- Latest FINE cartridge technology : chromalife100+ 300 years.

Ink
Using new cartridge type PG 810 dan CL 811

Scanning
- Scanning Technology using CIS with resolution 1200 x 2400 dpi (max)
- Scanning Bit Depth at 48 bit (input)/ 24 bit (output)
- Auto Scan Mode

Copy
- Copy speed : 19cpm mono / 15cpm colour
- Can reproduce ultimate copy quality even from the second generation copy with Dual Colour Gamut Processing Technology

Convenient
- Self-opening paper output tray when printing / copying, so we don't worry to forget opening output tray
- Quick Start
- Auto Photo Fix via Easy-PhotoPrint EX and MP Navigator EX
- 4-in-1 and 2-in-1 printing and copying reduce paper wastage. Special mode where we may copy 4 or 2 original on 1 page.
